*ELIGIBILITY – Trimester 3 last spring and Trimester 1 this year

*DAILY PRACTICE SCHEDULE

            3pm – 5:30                                          Pick up time approximately 5:50pm

            From 5 – 5:30 we lift weights or run on the track

*HAZING – HARASSMENT – BULLYING – PHYSICAL CONTACT

            No Hazing, harassment or bullying of any kind will be tolerated

            No, pushing, shoving, tripping, slapping or unwanted physical contact will be tolerated

*LOYALTY

            Held in the highest regard

*HYGIENE

            Showering is required after every practice and competition

            A clean T-shirt and shorts must be worn at every practice

You must wear a type of athletic supporter, i.e. jock strap, compression shorts under shorts and singlet

*COMMUNICATION

Always communicate with me through email, phone, a note or in person

            I must know where you are and why you are not present

            I need to know ahead of time that you may have to miss practice or a match

*TIME OFF / VACATIONS

Clear it with me now, in writing

            I must know ahead of time what your plans are

*DECEMBER BREAK & FEBRUARY VACATION

Plan on practicing and wrestling over the vacations

*EXTRA HELP

Communicate with me in advance through email, phone, or leave a note in my mailbox in the Athletic office.

When you return you must bring a note from the teacher stating the time and that you were there.

*BEHAVIOR AND DISCIPLINARY CODE

            Tardiness                                                         Unexcused Absences

            Logical consequences will follow                    May result in loss of competition

*VIOLATION OF CONTRACT

            Any violation of the school contract may result in demotion from varsity status

*BE ON TIME

Prepared and ready (practice gear, shoes on, Kenshield on) for practice and meets

            If you are not early you are late

*DO NOT MISS

            Be here for everything

*STAY AT THE SITE

Under no circumstances will you leave the wrestling area we are competing in without

prior approval.

*TEAM ROOM

            Needs to be kept clean

            Use your issued lock for all valuables

*UNIFORM

            Keep uniform secure by taking it home or locking it up

            Care for uniform by washing it regularly and respecting it

            If you lose it you buy it

            No uniform switching

As soon as your season is over turn in the uniform at the next practice or meeting.  When returning the uniform it must by washed and folded.

*EQUIPMENT

            Wrestling shoes to be purchased on your own

            Practice T-shirts and shorts

            Headgear will be provided by the team

*SNOW DAYS

Wait to get a phone call about a practice or a match

*GO HOME ON THE BUS

Unless there are extenuating circumstances that are cleared well in advanced, in writing, you ride home on the bus

            When we get home and you are waiting for a ride, come inside.  Do not walk off.

            Get picked up out back of the PE Building

*BUS BEHAVIOR

            Manage yourself on the bus

            Stay in seat

            Logical consequences will follow poor bus behavior

*BANQUET AWARDS

            Trophies and awards will be given out at the banquet at the end of the year

            Awards are for Varsity JV and Freshmen

            Appropriate attire is expected for the banquet

            All uniforms and money must be turned in prior to the banquet

*RESPECT TEACHERS AND ADMINISTRATORS
